p i m p your belly blends
over the years georgie & I have developed 10 super simple & downright delicious hacks to P I M P your belly blends.
these are a great way to spice things up and change the way you consume your blends on the daily.
1. Add a few drops of essential oils to your blends. Try these combinations.
Cacao Blend + Orange
Matcha + Peppermint
Superberry + Lemon
2. Freeze me
Make your belly blends as normal, but pop them in the freezer instead of fridge. Trust us, they come out like a deliciously creamy frozen treat.
3. Add me to your smoothie
Sprinkle your belly blends powder into your morning smoothie. Just make sure you blend well & drink it quickly.
4. Make a gut loving hot chocolate
In a small saucepan, add one cup of plant based milk, 1 tablespoon of sticky sweetener and a sachet of our cacao blend. Heat until desired temperate and whisk well. Pour into a big mug and enjoy immediately.
5. Coat me in choc
Make your belly blends as normal, but pop them in the freezer instead of fridge. Melt some chocolate (or coconut oil, rice malt & cacao) & then drop your belly blends into the melted chocolate. Stir to coat and pop back in freezer to set.
6. Add some crunch
If you like a bit of texture, try adding coconut flakes, cacao nibs, buckwheat kernels, crushed nuts etc to your belly blends. Just prepare them as usual & then stir in the ingredients into the liquid before setting in the moulds.
7. Go Nuts
Legit, add 2 tablespoons of your favourite nut butter to your belly blend mixture & then set. They taste insaneeeee.
8. Sweeten me up
Not sweet enough, try adding a tablespoon of sticky sweetener to the mixture before you pop them into the moulds. We love adding rice malt or agave.
9. Top Deck
This is such a fun one. Try half filling your moulds with one flavour, put it in the freezer to set. Then fill the rest of them up with another flavour.

10. Make it a belly bowl baby
Blend a sachet of belly blends with a frozen banana and some almond milk. Should form an ice cream like consistency.
Top with granola or cacao nibs and fresh fruit for a delicious & simple breaky bowl.
